Just One Look was written by American R&B singers Doris Troy and Gregory Carroll. It was a top 10 single in the U.S. in 1963. Just One Look has been used in ads for Mazda (1979) and Pepsi (1991 and 2002). It’s been covered in 1964 by The Hollies. It went to #2 in the UK. In 1974, Anne Murray covered the song on her Love Song album. In 1978 Linda Ronstadt covered Just One Look for her Living in the USA album. It went to #42 on the Hot 100 and #5 on the Adult Contemporary chart. In 1978 disco band Faith Hope ad Charity took Just One Look to #38 in the UK. In 1982, German new wave singer Klaus Nomi covered Just One Look for his Simple Man album.
